Chronicles of the Realm Walkers: Session 25

Ysir left the Realm Walkers and his party to get ready for the evenings celebration. Lee had Aryn show him around while Theren and Rachel went looking for a book store.   Lee learnt from Aryn all about Rachel, Ysir, and his time adventuring and there many escapade in Kemera. Lee learnt about the nature of the skull being Mammon, Aryn's patron's way of keeping tabs on him. It was unclear how or what they communicated. Lee asked about how Ysir and Auna met. The two groups had taken the same job and running into each other on the way, decided to work together. In the future saw Ysir would see the twins bite off more then they could chew and would offer for he and his party to help and one thing led to another. Lee also asked about his sex life and learnt it mostly involved the use of the silence spell and a very clear means of physical and visual communication. The two discussed at length the nature to which they could safely experiment to determine a way where the skulls kept to themselves. Lee also learnt during the Grand Hunt in Dark Mound this year Lord Varse had named a creature to similar to Eragis to be coincidence and that Eragis had killed a known party of the guild and many commoners in villages surrounding Dark Mound.   Theren and Rachel found a bookstore where Theren found two books of interest, "The Dragon and the Drow" a book written by Uramo, that had embossed on its cover the visual representation of the multiple material planes and the various connected planes.   Rhy learnt about her majesty's kingdom, Crasker. The land that Crasker resides on was given to the Minitours and other Medium size races that live there by the Largest Nation of Storm Giants to steward, but long before the separation of Nowch from the Giant continents, the region had been under Fire Giant control. The small coastal Fire Giant nation of Yug'Fit crowned a new king (the same one who makes a test of courage every few years for his soldiers to invade Nowch). He decided he should retake the ancient ladt of the Fire Giants. the invasion had been swift do to the rule of open border the storm giants gave the people of Crasker as part of their stewardship. The people of Crasker were placed into indentured servitude, having to "work off their debt" by working twenty years for the Fire Giants for having "occupied their land". The Storm Giants, unwilling to exert their militarily dominance of the then nation Yug'Fit incase they incite a greater conflict, have attempted to free Crasker through diplomatic means, failing utterly.   The Realm Walkers regathered and headed for the castle. As they crossed the threshold of the massive door way they passed through something magical. The massive hall spilled out before them. As they got to the far end they could see Queen Telanna and Arlon and the others each in tanna but still wearing the large gold bracelets, and the goblin wore large chunky gold choker. The party saw the Eladrin royalty, Rasephar surround by Eladrin, Fey, and Drow in particular, two wearing gold and greens tannas.   The party was unclear how to approach the Queen, the twins looked around and saw Ysir in a black and gold tanna, the reforged Name Taker on his side and was at least 5 inches taller then he'd been when they saw him earlier. Rhy approached and asked what they should do. He wasn’t sure, as when he and his party saved the queen they had a celebration just for them. He was a bit surprised Lee-ester hadn’t found them to explain thing, but with an archfey attending the Festival of Shadow for the first time in 200+ years it made sense Lee-ester might be distracted. Ysir mention that Rasephar and Arlon had had a brief encounter, noting it might have been the scariest thing he'd ever seen. Rhy asked if he had connection with Arlon through Pelor, and learned Auna's belief he worshipped Pelor was a drunken misunderstanding that he had not corrected. Auna liked the polar nature of them worshipping the god of the sun and the goddess of the moon. He actually worshipped Dor, the Father of Language. He suggested the Realm Walkers make a quick pass and bow to the Queen. Soon after Lee-ester, a dog like shifter with long floppy ears found them and offered them reserved seats at the royal tables. They took them and soon after Ysir was sat in the open seat beside Rhy. She asked him about his adventures learning he traveled to the western Giant continent in his youth, had returned and convinced Aryn to join him adventuring post accepting his warlock nature, and ahd eventually found Rachel. Rhy eventually led the conversation to Auna, where Ysir explained much the same as Aryn had, about how his party and the twins came together. His concern for them both came he believed mostly from seeing himself in Auna, how she was driven to take on bigger jobs just to meet a need (his to undo Kynta, hers to help her sister). When asked about having kids and the marriage he said it meant they could but Auna had plenty of time to consider seeing as she was practically immortal. This sent Rhy inside herself, she asked Sasnia if she could die. Sasnia replied she would long out live her brother, further compounded if she became a chosen   As dinner finished and the room was set for dancing Lee-ester summoned the party to meet with the Queen. The Queen first addressed Het's request, she rewarded the party unlimited travel, as individuals, via the Kemmera through way and when Ranrus swore his oath fulfilled Het's approval to use the Dark Mound through way.   Rhy mentioned Mavrin speeding up the Queen next point of business. She proposed hiring some of the Realm Walkers to kill Mavrin.Lee-Ester brought in Ysir whom the Queen would send along with them since not all the Realm walkers were safe from Mavrin's curse. Rhy was excluded from the request but Telanna needed to confirm how Theren viewed themselves. After Telanna pulled out Theren's aged mantra, she asked again what Theren was and Theren declared themselves a god with enough fervor to convince the Queen they would not fall victim the Mavrin.   The two still unnamed members of Arlon's Party brought out a great sword, Soul Key a magic and sentient blade they had managed to acquire that they believed was capable of ending Mavrin's immortality. Rhy still internalizing looked to excuse herself since she wasn't needed, the Queen made sure she had planned to hire Rhy for another task, leaving such a skilled adventurer untapped would be foolish, Rhy and lee had a check in before, walking her back to her lodgings.   Date: The 6th of Sithala, 1437 DC
