Chronicles of the Realm Walkers: Session 21
General Summary
The Realm Walkers began following the Werefolks trail. Ranrus was slow in his investigation but thorough. When the party reached a cross road it was unclear which way the Midnight and his pack had gone. Everyone started looking around but Ranrus in particular slipped down one of two descending paths, almost falling to his death. The party eventually made it to the Boetunn Northern Pillar, and found the Entrance to the Boetunn Goblin Market. Here they met Gibble, a young goblin who explained the rules, after some confusion, of the market. Lee, Theren, and Ranrus followed him for a tour of the market. After learning about the shop regions and shopkeepers the party split and explored proper. They heard Simply Salvage and Winder were sources of random things, and if you were looking for traditional formal clothing to check with Paey and for potions they should speak with the Furbolgh. Rhy on the other hand had made her way towards a Moonfolk who was vibing to the music being played on the market stage. Getting an unexpected energy she pulled back and acknowledged a Werecanine who, as the song ended, moved to the bar in the market. Rhy had Pip follow him.
Rules of the market
- One should always introduce themselves in some manor when approaching a shopkeeper. A real name is not necessary but something they can refer to you as.
- One should not touch any product unless they have real interest in purchasing it. If you pick up many things without any clear sign of purchasing you may be asked to leave “the shop”. Do not refuse or put up a fight about this or you will get a reputation and may even be banned from the market.
- Bartering is allowed and encouraged, trade of gold, possessions, and services are allowed but contracts are binding. Dispute over unwritten or unclear agreements will be decided upon by the present Monta. If you refuse to respect the Monta's decision you will be banned from the market and risk greater punishments.
- The sale, trade, or dealing of sapient creatures, life debts, or any form of servient work with no clear end point is punishable by death. If you are found to have dealing with these in the past you may be executed for past crimes and will be banned from the market.
- Sex trade is legal but it is extra important to be clear about the contracts to avoid issues with the previous rules.
