Chronicles of the Realm Walkers: Session 2

The party woke the next morning exchanging much of what they'd learned while apart. After much discussion, it was decided not to go after Master Minta , or to go after Oddi but to do a sort of loop round the west side of the continent in search of the Eberonian Instigator, to tune the construct and to stop by Dark Mound. The party headed for Flensfurth in northern Benara, which Ranrus had determined via commune to be where Werefolk were and following them would lead to the instigator. Lee remembered this is where Stay had said the Werefolk lived and they had an interest in the cards. The party arrived two days later and quickly got to work investigating.   They discovered the gnome had been there but not recently and that he spent time around Goysh's people. They were directed to ruins where they hung out. In the ruins they found a statue with a foreboding message and and a comment carved with radiant energy. Rhy called out and a woman responded. The party discovered three Werefolk in their humanoid forms. After a confusing back and forth the party was accepted amongst them, though the Half-Elf in the group left to find Goysh. Emily, a human with long frizzy brown hair and dark auburn skin, spoke with them about the pack and the Gnome, "Visser". Theren went to "pray to Yua" and found a not so secret wall, behind which was a box. This box felt of Yua and contained 13 cards 12 blank as well as the card, Inversion. Ranrus realized Visser was almost assuredly Dr. Visser Thittletwat, a disgraced artificer from Eberon whom experimented on warforged and sought to restart the war Onatar had prevented with the creation of the warforged centuries earlier. He disappeared completely about a month before Ranrus arrived on Ithica. Ranrus asked if he left anything and in a secret room/broom closet as he detected something magic inside. Ranrus found a strange sealed glass tube with a blue liquid suspended inside. Identify saw the magic as abjuration but nothing else. The object was likely a component for making things within artificy.   Goysh arrived and recognized the party. Goysh was kind and in a much better mood then when he'd encountered the party in Snowbright, though he still smelt like a wet dog. He discussed with the party their desire to find Visser and expressed his own concern over the Gnome's goals of having Werefolk help him create constructs to help people, making everyone appreciate Werefolk. Theren revealed that they had met Yua in person drawing all the Werefolks attention. Upon hearing that Theren did this because they were dead Bradley, the small Half-Orc went to get a knife. Lee knocked the knife out of his hands and Goysh and Emily quickly moved in to talk to him.   After Goysh moved the party away long enough to understand the situation, the party asked him to communicate to see if he could find out where Visser was. He cast sending on Daryl, directing him to Kynta's Keep in the vault, using the construct as a lure, Daryl implied he was near by and would check it out. Goysh started to make food and left the party to discuss their next move.   Date: 12th of Disiga, 1437
