Chronicles of the Realm Walkers: Session 18

Lee asked Elsa where they could find her after she left and she gave him the address of her manor in Summara and explained if they asked anyone in the city for directions they would be able to direct them there.   Rhy danced with Het and after initial conversation, Rhy directed to the conversation to Visser( though she didn't use his name) and apologized for the party killing a war criminal in her territory/district. Upon mentioning he traveled with Werefolk Het's demeanor changed. She asked if he was a gnome who wore a long purple coat and a top had and when Rhy confirmed this she completely stepped away from her. Het immediately asked for evidence of the war crimes and Rhy directed her to Ranrus. Ranrus explained Visser's history on Eberon with the same result, Het asking for proof. Rhy suggested truth telling magic to confirm what they were saying. Het was surprised at the suggestion and quickly arranged for them to come by the following day at noon. They could put a pin in it for now and return to enjoying the evening.   Theren and Lee continued with Elsa. They learnt she was over 1000 years old and she explained her desire for sharing knowledge and noted her and Lord Varse differing approaches. She even suggested the sun might just always be following her, since no other cities were cloud covered like Dark Mound. Theren and Lee explained a bit about the wood dragon and that Elsa should visit with stories and not wake him up. Elsa then twisted Theren's words into asking them to dance and with Elsa leading the two took over the dance floor, soon after joined by Lord Varse and Het Fairmoss who danced to rousing applause. Elsa left the dance floor and headed toward the doors. The Realm Walkers decide to check in with Lord Varse.   The party informed Lord Varse of what happened in the Row and after a back a forth over celestial invasion of his sovereign territory was calmed that no more planetar would be coming after the one Ranrus and Lee killed and the “three he dealt with”. Learning Ranrus was a Chosen Lord Varse performed a Loxodon bow of respect for one superior to themselves. He was happy those in the Row were safe, despite there religious tendencies and the gaudy anvil now in his street. Lord Varse announced the party as the guests of honor, as the group of individuals who chose of their own volition to return the child Ambrose home a free the city from his nuisance. Het went to find another dance partner. Lord Varse asked, having noticed some of the Realm walkers conversing with Het, if they’d made progress with the situation around the Through Way. Being informed Visser may have had permission he was worried as it could be problematic to kill someone under Fairmoss protection, he was equally confused at the parties acceptance of a zone of truth spell. He explained it would likely involve unrelated question. He explained he personally would never willing enter a zone of truth, especially since there are those with skill to compel, like Elsa. He was fairly certain the Werefolk were safe from any sort if retaliation of Visser's potential lies as long as they didn’t try to use the Through Way themselves. Rhy separated to find a dance partner and soon after Lee and Varse took to the dancefloor.   Varse pointed out how stunning his sister was, but not as stunning as Lee. Varse produce a shard of black metal, the only one in his collection, and said it should match Lee's blade. When asked about the weapon smith who forged it and his sword, he said she was dead but asked why Lee was looking. Varse told Lee when he last saw her she was in a castle. Lee mentioned they had information she'd been in the dessert and Varse explained it tended to move, teleporting. As the two spoke Lord Varse,  somewhat directly, offered Lee a kiss which he took. Soon after the two departed for Varse's bed chamber and faded to black.   Rhy danced with Theren and discussed the whisper campaign. After discussing the how and potentially looking for a replacement for Master Minta she decided to practice, cutting in on a high elf. The elf believed her when she suggested Master Minta was dangerous and a killer but was unphased. He then misinterpreted Rhy as showing interest in him and propositioned her both for body guard and sex work. Rhy politely, with a touch of snark, declined. After a few similar attempts  at starting the whisper campaign she went to see Het. She found her surround by attractive people but ignoring each of them. When Rhy approached she jumped at the chance to dance though this time it was very different: physical, aggressive, and emotional. Rhy quickly saw through this as well and managed to politely step out of dancing. Het, spurned a second time that evening, made her way out of the ball room, quickly followed by her attendant. Rhy suggested the party head back and now at three in the morning three of the Realm Walkers returned to The Tiddle House.   Date: 1st of Sithala, 1437 DC
