Chronicles of the Realm Walkers: Session 17

Rhy reached out to Sasnia. With the strong divine presence her mind was swiftly brought to the water realm she normally spoke to Sasnia in while in deep focus or dreams. Sasnia was completely visible in their Planetar form. Rhy asked what was going on and Sasnia informed her that what was happening was punishment for Onatar's transgression against divine law. She asked Sasnia if they could come help but were told one of their kind was already present and couldn't comes as well. She did manage persuaded Sasnia to help in some way. Rhy prodded at the idea of why couldn't the gods get involved considering what Sasnia and Spearadear had used her for to which she saw a change in Sasnia, one that told her that what they had done very well may of come close or even had broken the rules. Rhy returned back to reality. Lee and Theren both noticed that for reasons unknown to them that the party present in the ballroom had their skin suddenly change to light whitish blue, like that of the Moonfolk. Lee reached out Ranrus with sending to determine his location and condition. Theren drew Trent's attention and Trent opened a door for them to travel to the ground. The three rushed across the rooftops as fast as they could.   In the Row Ranrus was confronted with the the Planetar of Bahamut. After a brief back and forth the Planetar further reinforced that they were there to punish Onatar and his worshipers. The Planetar, seeing know value in Ranrus's criticism of the divine law punishing worshippers of Bahamut, drew his blade from the earth and strode toward Ranrus preparing to kill all the worshippers of Onatar in the Row. Ranrus, as he was struck for the first time with the full force of the Planetar divine blade, was pulled to a space with a magnificent brass dragon, Onatar. Onatar offered him 'his armor', 'his sword', or 'his magic'. Ranrus chose his armor gain immunity to fire and radiant damage, as the fight went on Lee arrived and the two of them managed to bring the Planetar down. One more divine light shot through the clouds. This one amber in hue, came down on Ranrus and though no words were heard Ranrus knew he had become Onatar’s chosen.   The party regathered confirming with Ranrus that he had become Onatar's chosen and briefly speaking with Blacktooth and Grun. Theren played a song written of the occasion and warmed the party. Rhy noticed that the divinity she had felt in the Row during pervious visits was now gone.   The party returned to the castle and ballroom where the band was preparing to play. The party had a brief discussion with Elanor who was, at least in part, familiar with “chosen” and was curious about the potential involvement with the undead in the celestial event. After the party split up and Lee noticed Elsa standing by herself away from the large group still gathered near the widows facing the row. Lee made their way over to Elsa, passing and acknowledging Lord Varse along the way. Lee spoke with her and learnt that her business turned out to be the same as the parties. Visser's target, Dr. Halton, had been a friend of Elsa‘s. As they continued to talk Elsa refused to acknowledge any issue between her and Lord Varse. When asked about her connection to the Academy of Sunrise Hill she explained she was the schools largest benefactor and had a building with her name on it. She told Lee she intended to leave soon, seeing as her business in the city had concluded and the sun in Dark Mound could be so strange. Lee stopped her as he waved down Theren, knowing they wanted to speak with Elsa still.   Date: 1st of Sithala, 1437 DC
