Chronicles of the Realm Walkers: Session 14

Pip and Theren, both hidden one way or another, followed Visser and his three guards inside the Reaper Hall. Outside, the others were approached by Elsa who was being followed by a beam of sunlight from a single small part in the clouds. She was intrigued at seeing them on her bench. She asked a few questions as to why they were their, intrigued by Lee's rare companions. When asked why she was there, she replied she had business with an old friend. She went to leave but Lee suggested she might help them, an idea shot down by Ranrus, thought they did learn the old friend was in fact, Victor Heart. Elsa headed in, promising to ask about the man inside. As the guards opened the door for her she took a small ring from her pinky finger, handing it to one of the guards.   Inside Pip and Theren overheard a brief exchange from the assassin and Victor to Visser confirming they had kill Dr. Holton and shut down the site by making it look like he died of natural causes, from a disease, as requested. Visser's group quickly left. Outside they had a brief discussion; Visser instructing one to head for camp to get the others, while he and the other two headed straight to their secret entrance where they would all meet.   In the few minutes between Elsa leaving and Visser exiting The Reaper Hall Ranrus cast commune once again hearing a voice not belonging to the form he saw. Whatever stood before him could once again speak in full sentences. He asked three questions; he was told to smite Visser, that he could help make the Peace Maker, and that the plane he saw when he was banished was Valnar and something to do with birth.   Theren returned and quickly informed the others what they saw, fighting their urge to go and spy on Elsa. The party followed Visser who strangely pulled off the main road out of Dark Mound and instead into the city proper. As they closed Ranrus gave Rhy the go ahead and she began yelling about her baby at the Werefolk guards. They tried to reason with her but the distraction was absurd enough they didn't seem to realize the real nature of the situation. Battle ensued as Ranrus rushed Visser and Rhy managed to banish two of the three guards. Visser was immediately on the defensive and was clearly not outfitted for a fight. He attempted to flee but try as he might with the aid of his one remaining guard he was unable to escape. Lee knocked him down once but his defender construct manage to revive him. Ranrus delivered the final blow whispering to Visser before driving his body down over his knee shattering every bone in his torso.   Date: 30th of Disiga, 1437 DC
