Chronicles of the Realm Walkers, The Amber Forge: Session 36

Early the next day Theren emerged from their bedroom after their four hours of meditation. They went out into the forge where Feln was still hard at work reforging Soul Key. Theren requested a blade that would, upon killing a target, would trap them on the plane of their afterlife. Theren places a research deposit of 20,000 gp down on the blade. Feln also asked Theren to get him some black heart iron and would use it on the weapon free of additional charges.   The rest of the party woke, gathered for breakfast and headed out. They made their way down the large valley over a ravine and up the other side into a smaller enclosed forest valley. about a half days travel Ranrus was able to track the house of the Hag and found a snowy clearing inside of which was a massive barn/house with a chicken motif and legs and two frost giants raging and yelling at the house. The clearing was strangely warm, some snow covered bushes had live berries, the river was thawed and flowing with colorful fish and a strange glowing frog vocalizing on a rock.   Lee approached the two frost giants who were angry that Gresmina, the name of the Hag, not given them their potions. The two giants weren't the brightest as they had a complicated back and forth over the potions being theirs. But eventually and agreement was made that the party would help retrieve the potions.   The party made their way in and began searching the room Rhy found a secret door and lee found a fancy gold key. Ranrus found two potion in the abjuration school and a leaky jar of carrion crawler ichor.   Moving through the secret door the party found a strange pink haze that tasted of cotton candy. Lee who was invisible noticed a somewhat sentient state as it tried to get into his mouth even as he was invisible. Rhy knocked on the door in front of her and was answered by a slow creepy voice asking them to enter. Inside was a was disturbing potion brewing chamber with a raised platform and a cauldron that seems to be the source of the pink fog. Rhy began conversing with her and quickly found Gresmina to think very little of her( Gresmina thought she was a boy, ugly, and wholly unappealing to other people). in the midst of their discussion around missing sword and potentially brewing a shapeshifting potions, Rhy received a sending from Oula who was asking if she was with her brother, Ysir was wondering. Soon after Rhy gave up on discussion and combat kicked off. Gresmina summoned some sort of strange clothed rat creatures to aid her. as the party wailed primarily on Gresmina she disappeared.   Date: 2nd day in Barovia
