Chronicles of the Realm Walkers, Lost in Time: Session 68

Ysir having pulled Rhy aside walking down toward the park the Realm Walkers met Elsa in. After making some small talk Ysir addressed the "relationship" between him and Rhy, and the emotional line that he's approaching. Rhy admitted she liked him. Ysir outlined being ok with monogamous and polyamory but at the moment polyamory was what he was in. After some adorably awkward back and forth Ysir asked if she "wanted to be put in that situation", that situation being being with him and learning if she was comfortable with him being polyamorous. Rhy said yes and the two began making out.   Meanwhile Lee, on behalf of the party went to see Gardenia. Lee learnt that she could actually have it ready pretty well whenever and Gardenia pushed Lee up against the wall and faded to black.   Back at the Dragon Scale Ale House Ranrus got the party rooms and put Theren to bed and then he to went to bed after sketching more designs in his notebook.   Rhy and Ysir started to head back holding hands. Rhy got a bottle of sparkling wine and the two headed to bed and faded to a celebratory fade to black.   The next morning the members of the party who stayed woke to find Lee still missing. Rhy sent to Lee and received a muffle reply that left her partially disturbed. the two went back to their room to also be "indisposed"   Theren went down in the bar and started talking to a patron, a bronze Dragonborn who was very cleary under the influence of some sort of magical substance. When Theren enquired as to what he was under the infuluence he produce a vile full of red liquid, which he called Aasimar blood. they technically purchase one vial of the drug. Faced with the apparent pressence of a drug made from people Theren tried to consult with higher powers, Lee and Yua, for permission to kill the drug dealer. Lee gave another muffleed responce and while wiating on yua's the drugdealer collapsed on the floor and started convulsing. theren ran over and started looking trough his pockets openly in the middle of the room. they retrieved a second vial, the 400gp they paid for the first vial, and tiny gold scroll tube the size of a lipstick. before they could really go naywhere. One of the Reed brothers stopped Theren asking for what they had looted from the body, as he pointed out the man was dead. Theren revealed one of the vials which the Reed brother's quickly snatched and crushed. When theren made clear they had similar feeling about the drug the brother did not push further and didn't take the second vial or the scroll tube from them.   Theren rushed upstairs, having detected abjuration and enchantment magic on the tube, to have ranrus dispell it. the onject itself did not appear magical but was under a magical effect not cuase by a spell. Ranrus attempted to dispel the effect and immdediatly felt the overwhelming force of the divine.   Theren took a closer look at the scroll tube. and only noticed a few bumps. ranrus took an even closer look. He detected an nearly undetectable scent of lavender. while investigating the bump he notice the formed line that crisscrossed the tube. as he countinued staring the bump bulged and t bulled up int five wiffling strand or necks. beneathe them the tube was red but the underside of each neck was a diferent colour: white, blue, black, red, and green. soon after they wreabbed back aorun the tube in a different patter bu still from a flawless gold cassing.   The two went to get Rhy and Ysir and filled them in. Rhy investigated the tube and noted draconic engrave on the red section of the tube. Theren look over quickly before it closed and saw the word "mother". theren look at it independently and saw three more words leading to "mother of her heart".   The group considered what to do with this information, Ranrus and Theren were considering finding th edrug den and kill everyone involved with the drug. Rhy was concerend about where the object should of ended up and if the man was supposed to die. Rhy went to see where the dead Dragonborns possesions would of ended up.   Rhy quickly learnt the corpse was sold to the apothecary next door. He would of sold the possesion to a pawn shop. rhy fed up at the non specifics asked hwer ehe might of gotten the drug and the vampire brother explained if he knew, he'd of told Lord Varse, and everyone making it would be dead.   Lee finally unhindered cast sending to his sister and informed them they could be sent back whenever. the party agreed to ask Gardenia about the scroll tube. as they aproached gardenias the door jsut opened and they stepped in, lee greeted them soon after entering and was caught up on the situation.   Gardenia came out and told lee she didn't give him permission to leave. look athe other she notice the object of their focus and said " oh good you have it" the party was confused and paranoid as she attached it to a magic chain offering for one of them to wear it telling them all they had to do was take it back with the them.   The party were all very suspicious of this as she dodged explaining what it was but Lee read that Gardenia intent was on of need not chaos.   The party pondered the ramifications including what this would do to the market for thte drug and the effect on Aasimar.   Gardenia told them the world would be much the same if they took it but very different if they did not.   Gardenia lightly encouraged them to go on there way and therne threatened Gardenina if it turned out taking this thing with them was a trick. gardenia walked them through the fortune telling room, now with a musty smell and several aparatus. Pushing through the curtain on the opposit side they found themselves not in a house but in what appeard ti be a sky blue dome, high above were flating clouds even. they were in a small fenced in garden beyoun which were green rolling hills. there was large with a swing the edric was swinging on on on of the hill owas a arched trelis covered in flowers. looking throught the trelis was not the green hils but instead a large house similar too but not the same as Rasephars.   Gardenia explained the gate led to the fey wild and she would be manipulating the time altering properties of the fey wild to facilitate their return. she also explained that it wouldn't be a direct route and they would take multiple stops each one shorter then the last. but would eventually end up at their destination. the party was once again suspicious. before they went through gardenia who strangely had ended up with the the strange Tiamat artifact scroll tube, out the chain over Rhys head and said "I think you should have this." Rhy was startled and confused but accepted it.   Theren made sure Ysir was ok and he was calm and prepared. Rhy took his hand and pulled him through. once they were all on the other side for a moment the could see gardenia before the archway was filled with swirling colors, the group rushed through stepping to a massive caldera. The floor was solidified molten rock in various swirled bulges, all around them were large nest filled with eggs as tall as Theren. There was a soft breeze that rattled the branches of the nests before they heard a howl of pain and a green Dragon crashes to the ground in front of them, a massive shaft of wood, easily 15 feet long, protruding from its chest. The sound of roaring and clashing metal on metal fill the air. You can see the shapes of dragons flying overhead above the mouth of the caldera.   They rush up to the Dragon to see if they could help. They could hear raspy sound of the Dragon quickly dying. Theren went to the head of the dragon and heald whispering draconic, that it wans't alone and would soon be in a better place. the wheeszing relaxed and there was some comford in the dragons final moments. lee looked to they ky for anything helpful only to see a grey cloudy day sky. rhy grabbed her brothe telported up to the edge of the culdera to llok down on a raging battle between Giants and Dragons. having seen two giants in barovia the tow were surprised by what they saw below as the ginats dwarfed the ones they had met.   The culdera was suddenly quckly darkened twice by two massive shadows. looking up the party saw a white dragon and a silver dragon, both covered in black markings. They landed on the edge of the culdera the edge cracking breaking under their massive wieght. Thelooked down on the battlefield and let out deep bouts of growling laughter before leaping over the edge flying just over the surface bofe crashing into a group of giant and began tearing them to shred. the sound of metal on metal stop and the air is fill witht sound of screams and pain ads the two began releas sweep freezing breaths and the gian almost immediatly went into retreat. They each felt the light touchof what seemed like hands on their shoulders, and then as if those gave you each a light push forward.   In front of them was a sea of silver flame as far as they could see. There is strange sort of pulsing gust of wind and they all felt this strange overwhelming heat that even Ranrus felt a touch uncomfortable from. outside discomfort the heat didn't bothe Rhy or Ranrus. Lee and Theren on the other hand felt a hot stinging sensation with each gust. They were suddenly overwhelemed by the sound of cracking and ripping erupting from behind them. They turned to see a wall of Giants, of all kinds, digging with shovels and pick axes. Behind them you see a Fire Giant in golden robes holding what apears to be molten rock encased in red translucent material. The Giant is chanting in a language none of them recognized and the rock was slowly glowing brighter and brighter. The trench the Giant were digging began to glow, releasing a shimering, semi traslucent, arora like wall. The wall started to grow, shooting out along the trench until they could no longer see it end. The cracking noise continued, getting louder and louder until there was an intense tremble. they heard a scream as a giant fell into the trench but the voice trailed off as they kept fallling. The earth between the Realm Walkers and the Giants began to crumble. The trench rapidly expanded into a ravine. the edge of the ravine expands rapidly as the earth between them and it fell. On the other side Giants ran for their lives. As the edge began to bare down on them, each of them felt hands gripping their shouldersagain. For Ranrus and Theren, these unseen hands pushed them back toward the ravine. Rhy and Lee were push froward away from the ravine.   Rhy and Lee found themselves on a hill looking down at a fort under seige, which they recognized as Toromir Stronghold, a massive fortress on the eastern border of Krata. Massive bolders dotted the space between them and the fort and severeal were imbeded in the wall itself. A warm wind blew up from below peppering the twins faces with sand and dust. As the wind passed they heard some one yell, "Another" and a moment later a massive boulder hurtled from behind them toward the Fort, landing on the wall beside a parapet, blocking the door. behind them was a one armed Dragonborn woman. Her shining red scales were accompanied by the ocassional grey and despitethe surrounding her flowing red robes were in prisinte condition. A flaming mage hand flew around her body as she stood confidently pointing at the fort with her reamining right arm. Behind her was a strange bulbous drawstring bag, 5 feet tall and 5 feet wide walking under its own power on four spike like two jointed legs. They watched as this massive bag spat out a boulder that started to fall before the Dragonborn movedher hand slightly and the boulder floated in place. "Are you ready to surrender yet" she yelled out, her voice traveling much farther then any natural voice or even one aided by prestidigitation could. Without waiting for any sort of responce she pointed at the fort again and the boulder launched, smashing into the gate house blocking the entrance which, appeared to have just been cleared. The Dragonborn started laughing maniacally. The woman looked over at the twins, her eyes milky white."Ha I knew Izret had to of knocked someone up! Now how did you manage to sneak up on me?"   The twin answerd that it wasn't intentional. she asked if they were their to help. they said they were just passing through. she was confused and returned to her one person siege.   Each of the twin will felt the hands again. The hands grabbed Rhy under her arms and began to lift her. The hands that grabbed Lee grabbed him around the waste and yanked him down.   Ranrus and Theren appeared on a large platform surrounded by large brass coloured bars. There was a steady warm breeze coming from the left. Out ahead of them, past the bars, was an awe inspiring sight, a massive hunk of earth floating high in the air. Below the chunk of earth is a gold strcuture with a glowing sphere of blue light encased in spinning gold rings. Four long appendages reach out dancing like long metal spider legs strideing across an invisble web. Both of them suddendly felt weightless as they realized they been throw into the air and the plaform they were on what appeared to be moving. A massive thumping can be heard and a giant blue humanoid head pops out of the floor ahead of them. Ranrus felt the hands begin to wrap around his legs and pull him backwards. Theren felt two hands strike their shoulders, grabbing them and yanking them forward.   Rhy Found herself in a kitchen she didn't recognize. There was a sink facing out over a green field. A small silver moon hung from a nail in the widow sill. She heard the sound of the wind blowing through wind chimes. Rhy began to look around. stepping through the kitchen into the living room she saw a small stair case leading upstairs. she inspected the space briefly before starting up the stairs Rhy hear the fron door open and heard a voice. "Mom your ok, what happened? Dad went looking for you, we were so worried" before she could tunr back around she felt the hand on her ankles and with just a slight tug she felt like she plummeting into nothingness.   Theren appeared in a long enclosed space. The air was hot and there was a red pulsing glow along the ground, like hot coals or cinders. They made their way down the the hall hearing a splashing sound. The air got warmer as they moved further and further in. As the space opened up Theren saw a room made of carved stone and pillars but many of the surface had turned to molten rock and the room looks destined to colapse. In the middle of the room ahead of them was a large red form. looking around theren could see humanoid corpses. Between the red form and Theren was a long pointed eared figure with their back to them, slashing apsent mindely into bodies with a glowing sword. Theren could hear every step the figure took it splashed in the blood that seem to cover much of the floor. A cold rush of air came from behind rushing into the room. The figure stopped and too two deep nostrily sniffs. The figure with the sword turned to Theren, kicking a head free from one of the corpses sending it flying toward them. it landed in front of Theren with a squelch. While the face was disfigured Theren recognized the light blue skin and the silver tatto under the right eye of Desmond. The figure finshed turning to look at Theren, a glowing red flame errupting from its red eye as a smiling blood soaked Tenara looked up at them. "We already killed you" he said. There felt hands wrap around their throat from behind and pulled them backwards.   Lee appeared on a cliff on the coast of a blue sea bright blue cloudless sky. a light sea breeze peppering his face with brine. all is quite until he heard a childish scream from below. He saw a small beach and a little girl. She was staring quite intensly out to sea. she screamed again as the tide comes in, up to her feet and she jumps back. The tide started to roll back but suddenly lurched further forward rising up to the girls knees. The girl slapped at the water and yelled "stop that". The water kept rising until the water began to shape into long strands, moving like tentacles to ensare the girl. In an instant the beautiful day was gone, the sky turned black, storm clouds appeared and lighting raged along the shore and sea. Despite the crashes of thunder Lee could hear a voice through it. "Enough this isn't a game I want to play. I told you I wouldn't put up with this anymore." A massive whirlpool formed off the coast. The little girl held something over her head and the object was struck by lightning. You watch as the clouds descended and disappeared into the object and then the watery tentacles still carresing and ensareing the girl rushed over and up to the object. The whirlpool got closser and closer to shore and as it reached the shallow a massive wave rose out of the sea, a massive dark shape hidden behind the wall of water. The wave rushed towards the girl. The wave got close to her but with unatural force was pulled toward the object and disapearred. Things calmed, the tide was much further out. Lee heard the voice again "I guess you saw all that..." the girl looked at hjim pointed and turned her had over, lee fell hnd on his chest pushing him as he stopped breathing and his heart stopped beating and the felt himself fall into the arms of the Raven Queen.   Ranrus appeared atop a mountain beside an alter where a Half-Elf with black and blue hair hammered on a sword. The hammer glowed purple and grey-white tendrils flowed behind it as it came down on the blade. Ranrus appeared to be in a cloudy mountain range, unlike any he'd seen on Nowch. The Half-Elf looked at Ranrus stopping mid swing. "How in the Nine Hells did you get in here?" Ranrus replied. "It's a long story." She stepped away from the anvil, as the arcane sigils on the ground stop glowing. "Are you some sort of astral projection?" Ranrus answered, "No I'm physically here, built traveling through time i guess." She turned her hammer over in her hand and reached up trying to us the handle to till his face. Despite her small stature she commands the space. "Is this like your inner representation or are you actually an elephant?" Again Ranrus replied, "I'm a loxodon." The anvil disappears revealing below it a large sigil of three humanoid forms swirling in on each other. An invisible hand pressed against Ranrus chest calmly before grabbing and pulling him slowly forward. Each of the Realm Walkers and Ysir hit the ground, each covered in a purple goo that's slowly melted away. Saransina rushed over in her Dragon form creating a gust of wind pulling the ooze from their bodies. In their brief moments before falling unconscious the party could see each other all except Lee seemingly well.
