Chronicles of Fate: Session 1, What Now?

Rhy caught up with Ysir and Auna about what had been happening in Great Bird while Lee caught up with Aryn about what had been happening between him and Queen Telanna. The Realm Walkers and Auna, Ysir, Aryn met in Turds to discuss what to do next.   After a lengthy discussion about the rumors of the sightings of Izret and Chalaina and the upcoming expedition. The Realm Walkers decided most of Her Majesty’s Wrath would go to Great Bird and continue to monitor the situation. The Realm Walkers and Izret would look for Silver Wind and, if possible, deal with the Warforged. Aryn would return to Kemmera.   To start their search for Silver Wind the party chose to go see Elyana Trendisimo and get back Branches Journal. They planeshifted to Cintar, the Capital of Iter, where they were ambushed by Silence.

  As Rhy woke in her room in Destana's Castle, Ysir started to get her caught on what they been up to in greater detail then sending arrived. Her majesty's wrath had walked back to Great bird and Ysir made sure to stop in Dark Mound to get his reward. He was given Gold Quake, the sister blade to Silver Wind. Ysir was afraid Lord Varse was playing some sort of game with them by giving him it. Rhy wasn't concerned but did want to give Ranrus the chance to cast legend lore on the blade. They briefly discussed what she and the other Realm Walkers wanted to do about Master Minta. They hadn't come to a conclusion so they three headed to breakfast at Turds to meet with everyone to discuss.   Lee returned from Lin Rut and discovered he could see all the Judges clearly. he did not make it obvious he could see. He headed to find Aryn. He quickly found Aryn room and the two started catching up. Aryn informed Lee that he, and the others had agreed to a certain amount of memory manipulation, so they weren't exactly sure where they were or what it was that went on in the castle/organization. Lee explained it was similar but different than what Rachel did, and Aryn clarified that meant lee didn't kill people and then put their souls in cages.   Lee asked Aryn about his situation with the Queen Telana. Red had advised him to be cool and collected and not come off as needy, and now Aryn wasn't sure what their relationship was. Aryn was a little confused about what he was feeling feelings about. Red continued to give measured advice and thoughts. Lee didn't think she was lying in the moment, but Lee still worried about the skull's intentions. Lee learnt Aryn had a new set of orders from Mammon from Red, but he had to give her permission to tell him the orders, and he had not and was not giving that permission. With that, they decided to head for breakfast with the others.   Ranrus woke and headed straight to Turds. the Realm Walkers, Aryn, Auna, and Ysir all gather together, got breakfast, began to share information and plan how to proceed.   Her Majesty's wrath had been in Great Bird for around a month and half. Auna and Oula had been spending time in the Moonhalls. They had heard rumors of sighting of Chalaina and Izret in the Moonhalls, but they didn't know how this might be affecting Master Minta, but so far, they hadn't noticed any change. The twins were in good standing still as far as they could tell and could meet with Master Minta easily enough, they just couldn’t do it privately. Any meeting they asked for would include other members of the survey team. There was no sign of the Queen or any other positions of powers reacting to the rumor.   The party transitioned into asking about the expedition. Learning it was even more abnormal then expected. They had no idea when it would occur, as Master Minta was "still communing with Spearadear". There was speculation that they might start looking at another plane which was incredibly strange, that a plane should be almost guaranteed if they were sending out surveyors. The plane, Chara, had been looking at was very young, just humans, no signs of any Gods, or religion, they were just discovering magic. Rhy remembered it was very young, less then 500,000 years old, and Spearadear didn't know who made it.   Lee had concerns that this early expedition might contribute to the creation of the Red Lady. Auna hypothesized with lee's prompting what effects migrations might have on Spearadear. The party through around several theories. AUna continued that it was unclear if master Minta intended to join them in on the new plane or remain. If he did, he would be like a God to the locals in a short time.   Rhy suggested that becoming Gods in the eyes of locals would be preventing their change, Auna countered that, as long as they as "Gods" didn't make the people stagnate, then it was technically within her tenets. Auna described that all the planes they were considering were young and similarly vulnerable.   With this concern present Rhy added the nature of these planes with unknown creator or creators to their growing list of questions. As the questions built Auna refocused, Minta needed to die, no matter what the effect of the expedition would be.   Ranrus asked what an early expedition would do to Snowbright's population. Auna explained the plan was to have more communication and travel back and forth then previous expeditions. She postulated that it was almost like this expedition was an experiment, but that Master Minta wasn't describing it as such.   Auna finished with asking whether or not they should head back to Great Bird or not, she was most interested in a timeline. Lee thought they should wait see what happened with the next volume of Hero's Rise. He thought they should prioritize finding Silver Wind.   With that Rhy asked Ranrus to cast legend lore on Gold Quake. They took the time to clarify their plans, Her Majesty’s Wrath would go to Great Bird and continue to monitor the situation. The Realm Walkers would look for Silver Wind and if possible, deal with the Warforged problem. Izret hearing mention of the people out to kill them, suggested he might travel with them for a bit, since he wasn't going to be of much help in Great Bird. They agreed to have him join them for a while, something it seemed had been on his mind and he and Auna had been talking about.   Ranrus completed his legend lore.     The party decided to learn more about Silver Wind they would need Branches Journal. since they knew who had it, Rhy asked Ranrus to send to Elyana, not using the ear cuff. He started by scrying on her with the scrying orb. She was in a fancy tavern, which Rhy identified as likely being Cintar, the capital of Iter. In the scry Gil looked in the direction of the sensor for a moment. Ranrus sent to Elyana, and asked if she could help with some research on Izret. She told them she had a few days available before she had permission to enter The Tower of Eg, which she would not miss. Ranrus suggest asking to be her escort to join her in the tower. Rhy was skeptical that would be an option   After this Gil sent to Ranrus after asking why he was spying on his sister. Ranrus replied he was trying to figure out if they were still in Great Bird. Gil quickly replied, how'd you know we were in Great Bird? Ranrus explain they had a Common acquaintance while they had recently been in Great Bird.   Before the party departed Oula and Theodora arrived. They said some quick goodbyes, before they left Lee checked in with Eloise.   She told him she was going traveling again to learn more techniques of the Way. She explained his sigil had special traits. focusing on it could let him know where the castle was, while in the castle he could see its judges, if he focused he could sense nearby Way of the ethereal sites, and if he focused on judges out in the world, he would be able to see them without using true sight.   Ranrus asked Aryn to deliver a message to the queen about the Werefolk coming to help on a public works project.   The party having dealt with there loose ends plane shifted to outside the Tower of Eg. They immediately felt a fiery presence on their arrival and Lee, Ysir, and 10 passerbys, were suddenly stunned as a voice the party had not heard in a very long time questioned them accusatorily, "Why were you keeping him from me?" Something tried to planeshift Lee and Rhy countered it. The Fallen Valkyrie, Silence was floating before them in a furious rage.   Date: 20th of Haunthera, 1437 DC
