Chronicle of Fates: Session 3, Ooooh Baby

After Gil and Elyana left, Ysir passed on that the book mentioend Tia's closest companion, Peaku, guarded the library. Rhy was able to remember Peaku, whatever it was, was associated with Liliandra, but nothing else.   They sent a message to Oka asking for information about Peaku with the sending plank. The party explored the city before most went to bed.   Lee went to the tavern to spy on Gil's dream only to find Gil awake and expecting him. Lee went unseen but invited Gil to chat in the bar. They spoke for a short while, Gil expressing his limited care for the party, and giving Lee some advice about hlping people and long lives.   The next day the party scry'd on Peaku and discovered the bag Theren found in The Living Caverns was Peaku, a bag of holding and devouring awakened by Liliandra. It had no memory of its previous owners. Rhy search Peaku for sign of Tia's library finding a journal that helped lead her to a magic crystal, Tia's Library. They identified it and learnt it could only be opened under moonlight.   The party then headed to the inn to sign the contract and collect Branches's Journal. During this time Ysir realized Rhy was not showing.   While heading out of the city to resurect Hummel, Ysir infromed Rhy and in turn the partyof the abnormality. As the reality of their confusion and the babies state set in, the most plausible culprit seemed to be a Remnant of Dor.

  After Gil and Elyanna left,Rhy checked in with Ysir about what Gill had whispered to him a modify memory in an attempt to make him forget what he had read in the book. Ysir explained it didn’t work because he was immune to charming magic. Rhy asked if he had found anything about what she had asked him to look for in the book. He found the phrase, “Tia’s library was guarded by her most loyal companion, Peaku.” This was particularly surprising because As Rhy understood it Tia had no companions. She had only joined the party because she was impressed by Izret. The name Peaku also had no connection to Tia, but it was a name or term associated with Liliandra. Rhy suggested they scry on Peaku, now that they had a name.   Lee meanwhile kept a look out. The only out of the ordinary thing she saw was a Goliath that was managing to weave through the dining area quite swiftly without bumping into anything.   Rhy knew that Tia had a great respect for Liliandra’s and had interest in her research and creations. In an attempt to gain more insight, they sent using the sending plank to Oka. Lee used illusory script to write their message, that they had a lead on her library, were getting the journal back, and if she had any information on Peaku. The message sent, they would get a reply in a day and a halfat the earliest.   The party explored the city for the remainder of the day. Lee using his true sight to look at spot where a typical city would have guards. The first spot he looked at he saw Way of the Ethereal Judge. In the second was a scrying sensor with sight on a large intersection. They had dinner on Ysir and discussed their accommodations, after a back and forth of where they got two rooms at a hotel near but not to near the tavern and inn Gil and Elyana were staying at.   Lee decided to spy on Gil. He headed to the inn and snuck upstairs invisibly, he found the sibling room, finding Elyana in one rom alone, and her Goliath bodyguard Pensen Torotson in the other and Gil’s bed empty. Lee found Gil in the hall seeming looking for someone. Lee wondered away finding that Gil was talking to Yua, who had seemed to tell him Lee was coming. Lee in an act of safety headed back to his seat in the tavern and messaged Gil. The two spoke for a while. Lee learned Gill did not have any friend and Gil warned Lee about the fact not everyone lives forever while other will live very short lives and that they can’t help everyone and the sooner they learn that lesson the better. Lee returned to the others. The next day the party got up and started into their to do list. They started by Scrying on Peaku with the scrying orb. The orb showed themselves in the room. After some confusion they concluded it was a very specific scrying protection or Peaku was in the room with them. After moving around the party realized that Peaku was the sentient bag of holding lee carried. Ranrus cast legend lore on Peaku.     Rhy started trying to pull theoretical things out of the bag and managed to retrieve Tia’s Journal. Reading it she found signs of Tia being frustrated by and eventually resolving the restriction of bag of holdings. She seemed to be trying to resolve the issue with some sort of enchanted Dragon soul stone. Eventually Rhy though Tia’s Library and pulled out a cold beautifully cut gold crystal. Ranrus identified it.   It was Tia’s Library. By placing in the crystal under moonlight and identifying the people who you want to enter a doorway should form allowing entry into a demi plane, “Tia’s Library.” If there is anyone that can see the doorway that is not identified the doorway will not open.   The party headed to the tavern the Trendisimo’s were staying at, messaging as they went to confirm the state of the contract. Elyana informed them they had the contract, and they all met in the bar. Everyone inspected the contract, and the relevant parties signed it.   It was during this inspection that Ysir seemed to notice something and became a little concerned looking at Rhy.   As the party finished up Elyana mentioned going into the tower and Rhy inquired excitedly. Seeing her interest, Elyana asked how much going in was worth to Rhy. Rhy seemed to take offense suggest she had plenty of time and the party departed. On the way Ysir asked to speak to Rhy privately. Rhy wanting to get to allocation to perform the resurrection suggested they just talk while they walked and just gave the others a little distance.   As they reached a less a populated area, Ysir brought to Rhy’s attention that she wasn’t showing yet, despite it being months since you unlocked the baby. Rhy began to panic. Ysir held her telling her he wouldn’t let go of her, while he reached out to Dor. Rhy called out to Ranrus and Lee, they two were told that Rhy wasn’t showing. Rhy and lee were confused but Ranrus was no longer confused. Ranrus was sure this was not normal.   They worked to figure out what was happening. Lee informed the others of Yua’s inability to completely invert everything about the lock. This was a shock to the others.   Ysir returned and confirmed Dor had dropped all his protections. The party had started to cause a minor scene.   The party continued to ponder who or what could do this. Rhy reached out to Sasnia. They confirmed that they and Chalaina knew but they didn’t know much more. They just knew they had to fight to remember, recognized that Rhy didn’t notice. They explained there would a divine, demonic, abyssal, or fey trace if any of them were interfering. Rhy consider other Remnants of Dor. Her mind drifted to the Whispers. Sasnia did not seem to be aware of Whispers.   Sasnia promised to remind Rhy if she forgot again.   Date: 20th to 21st of Haunthera, 1437 DC
