From the ashes of war, the peoples of Itherün built new kingdoms. It was in this period that the decline of elves began in ernest as they lost much land to an emerging group known as humans. During this era, the dwarves rose to prominence and built many great works, working alongside the humans to help guide their place in the world. The dwarves had mostly drawn back into the mountains by the end of this era, leaving the world to be dominated by humanity.
