Father of the Forest

Divine Domains
Primordial forest in northwest Dianera
Divine Symbols & Sigils

Physical Description
General Physical Condition
As a tutelary god, Sygurd is directly tied to the Progenitor Tree and the forest at large as its protector.
Body Features
It's thought that, since Sygurd is the Father of the Forest, that each tree and bush are his limbs.
Facial Features
Sygurd appears as a living extension of the Progenitor Tree, with deep green eyes and a mossy beard. His "skin," if it can even be called that, is covered in lines that somewhat resemble small, spindly roots, giving him the appearance of a very green, very old man.
Identifying Characteristics
Perhaps the most striking part of Sygurd's appearance is his tree-like appearance. While not quite a sylvan, he almost looks like a natural formation of leaves, moss, rocks, and twisting roots.
Mental characteristics
Personal history
A tutelary god of the forest, worshiped by the elven clans in the north. Sygurd made his home in a primordial forest, in a tree thought to be the original seed of it: the Progenitor Tree
Personality Characteristics
Motivation
As a god, Sygurd is kind and protective to the devout, but vengeful and destructive to those who don’t pay proper custom or harm his followers. His children, the Sigurdsen, share these traits. Their vengeance is more mischievous, characteristic of some Fey or trickster figures.
