Personal history
The Hoster family has held Rutledge since the first conquering of Dianera by humans. The Hoster family has normally acted as stewards to the entire western region of Dianera. The Hoster family joined Semia early in the days of Aesaria’s rebellion. Their supply of grain and food was responsible for feeding Semia’s army, and in reward for their service, the Duke was awarded a triumph and a gold comble was added to their heraldry. The Hoster family motto is "Honor and Strength."
Education
As a member of one of Dianera's most powerful families, Hoster was classically educated in languages, math, science, philosophy, and politics. He began court life as a teenager, attending council meetings as a way of further education in court politics.
Employment
As the Duke of Rutledge, Hoster is responsible for the wellbeing and leadership of much of western Dianera. He oversees the harvests as well as the tithing of those crops to the Crown. His seat on the Council entitles him to influence and political power.
Accomplishments & Achievements
- Awarded a triumph by Semia for supplying the United Forces with grain and food during the Brothers War
- Leads the Nobles Council in tandem with Calary, the Count of Warick

As a courtier, Rutledge is mostly dissembling. He's always for an opportunity and a way to solidify his position at court.

Rutledge believe in law and order, maintaining traditions, and securing the wellbeing of Dianera's people. He's vocally supportive of the nobility as leaders for the people, and generally favors expansion of Dianera's borders.
