Calvera Castle
Calavera Castle is the capital city of the Isle of the Forgotten and has been under the rule of House Bishop for several generations.
Defences
The astonishing stronghold sits behind a massive stonewall, with large trees wrapping around the exterior, concealing the castle within the greenery. The tall towers loom. Several homes sit outside the wall, close enough to seek shelter in case of an attack.
History
King Delmar’s great-great-grandfather, Sir Samuel Delmar Bishop, sieged the castle from the centaurs, and the city has been ruled by his descendants since. Shortly after Sir Delmar’s invasion, a mystical fog surrounded the isle, creating treacherous travel to and from the landmass.
Geography
North of the kingdom lies the view of the Ghostly Peaks, a large mountain range that spans the entire northern island.
Natural Resources
The kingdom is situated near several resources, including the sea, and is close to Greenwood Fold, a forest located northeast of the castle. There is a small lake with a windmill and fish resources, which are stocked regularly from the sea. The soil is ideal for growing crops and raising livestock.
