Personal history
Frederick was born to Alishe and Ricktor Nomgrata, who were excited to bring a child into their humble lives. Frederick enjoyed a stable upbringing and was known as a curious and somewhat annoying child. Tragedy struck when platadiles killed Ricktor Nomgrata after stepping too close to their nests. Alishe, now having to work harder, began scavenging and trapping to try and feed the too and ended up being bitten by a bat while in the cliffs on the southern border of Hollow Oak. This bat carried the extremely dangerous disease of Spell Plague and would end up slowly killing Alishe, but she was able to work long enough until Fred became an Oaken Shield guard of Hollow Oak. Fred grew close with the chill and nonchalant Hans Hathaway , son of the affluent merchant Hanciel Hathaway, and Torin Eifflehim the son of an enigmatic monk and local carpenter. The trio helped Fred weather the storm of his life, and helped him care for his mother. When the Wardens of The Black Path arrived to Hollow Oak, at the time just random vagabonds, he quickly hit it off with Legacy. Legacy and Fred formed a friendship that would soon be stressed over the following months, as The White Ghost terrorized Hollow Oak and ended up slaying Hans. While the wardens defeated The White Ghost soon after, Fred was never whole again without his friend and began to devout himself to his guard training. With no one around but training Fred soon fell into a fervent loyalty to Vaygrade. After not speaking to Legacy for sometime the two gathered with Almacia to construct a teleportation circle in the castle. However, Fred would meet his end here, slain by the forces of Qasriga in front of Legacy.

Fred identified closely with the male identity and attempted to live up to the best Standards of being a man he could.

Fred was a bisexual man and was comfortable with the idea of exploring new sexual experiences.

Fred received no formal education but was taught to read and write by the Oaken Shields when he was recruited as a teenager.
Employment
Fred spent his entire working life as an Oaken Shield guard for Hollow Oak. He enjoyed his job well enough, focusing heavily on his duties during the latter part of his life.

Fred blamed himself for not being strong enough to protect Hollow Oak and his friends.
Mental Trauma
Seeing the aftermath of the attack on the Barracks by The White Ghost still haunted Fred, even as he was tortured by the Drider of Qasriga, his mind still wandered to the scorched room in his more peaceful moments.
Morality & Philosophy
Fred believed that everyone in Hollow Oak should devote themselves entirely to the betterment of the province and that if they all sacrificed the individual they could improve the collective. Because of this Fred devoted himself entirely to doing what he thought he was best at, fighting as a soldier.

Fred was openly Bisexual, a trait looked down upon by some cultures and faiths of Iskudar.

Fred is remembered by the Oaken Shields as a model guard. Constantly working to improve themself and willing to sacrifice it all for Vaygrade and his vision of Hollow Oak. Despite being a low rank all true Oaken Shields wish to replicate the level of devotion he committed to Hollow Oak.
Frederick is a handsome, social guy, who can be somewhat annoying and persistent when it comes to getting what he wants.
