Desire and want are what motivates and drives the Kanoia, the pursuit of pleasure and goods are the most important goals in this life, or at least that is the belief that philosopher Zi'daruk teaches. Zi'daruk is one of the most widely known philosophers in the known world, the grandiose of his teachings on life and it's purpose is matched only by his eccentric personality and extravagant feasts he hosts.

Zi'daruk sees his brothers and sisters toiling their days away, mining a never ending stream of ore to feed forges that never die thanks to the children and slaves who feed them, to Zi'daruk this is an abomination. He believes life is sacred, and any life that is spent nor pursuing the simple tenets he has learned and passes on is an extreme waste of time and life. He seeks to liberate all Kanoia's inhibitions.
