High Wizard's Honey Pot

A small purple honey pot sits atop a table in a dimly lit room. To most, it looks like an ordinary pot, but those that move closer can feel the magic of such a lackluster item. Those of the Starlit Tower know this item to be far more than simply an ornate honey pot, it is the item that houses the tower's most magical secret.   The Wizard that began the academy was known to be an eccentric man. He was known to chew on crystallized honey bits when excitement or a new idea overtook him. These bits were kept in a small pot that he kept in his pocket, hidden in the depths of his purple robe. The pot was not magical when in his possession, but one day it would hold magic beyond what anyone knew before.   When the Wizard reached his last days, he sought a way to continue serving the academy. He poured his consciousness into the tiny pot, hoping the academy would keep him around to answer the questions of all who dared ask. And so, the high Wizard became the honey pot, a source of wisdom for all to use.   Students and faculty alike approach the honey pot in the dimly lit room to ask for an answer to a problem. Whether it be the question of which type of magic to consult or for advice on how to continue with their education, the pot will either share its wisdom with those that question it or spit out an item that is sure to answer the cause. Those that ask are told to never get too close because the high Wizard in his pot is known to have poor aim.   The pot has resided at the academy for decades, surviving long past the days of ordinary Humans. Those that wander the tower have often heard the current headmaster, Alexander Cross, discussing various topics with the pot. They will be tethered for hours in deep conversation, it's best to wait for the next day to ask the pot more questions.
