Slime mucous needs to be stored in a special glass jar that has been magically treated so that the glass is seen as organic so that the slime does not eat through the glass.

There are no laws in regards to slime mucous as it is seen as a useless ingredient that is only good at dissolving cloth. There are regulations revolving around alchemists using slime mucous in recipes to create liquids able to dissolve brandings and tattoos.
