The Reign of Morgana

The terrible being Morgana caused an almost eternity of chaos, taking over the Gods' newly formed world and spreading destruction and hatred across its inhabitants.

After the creation of Isaldar during the Genesis Times, the world was hijacked by Morgana, a powerful deity of the void that spread chaos and destruction. She ruled within what would become the Realm of Vanesse, protected by enhanced wards that prevented the Pantheonic Gods access, and despite the valiant efforts of the many heroes and champions formed by the Gods, Morgana ruled for what could've been eternity, spreading horror and darkness throughout the world. This sparked a period of pure destruction - what little life that could arise in Isaldar was twisted and deformed, and the landscape was tarnished by the chaos. The lands were abyssal black and darkness filled the skies. Abominable creatures of eldritch horror roamed the surface, brutally consuming any who passed them. The Pantheonic Gods tried in desperation to form heroes who would be powerful enough to defeat Morgana, but they failed at every turn. Despite being perfect soldiers with hearts of steel, they were easily killed or corrupted by Morgana's terror. It was only until the day that a band of unlikely adventurers formed that the carnage would end.
