    Rise of the Tenebrian Empire

    The Terran Mandate falls due to corruption by its interior ministers and its over-reliance on advanced AI.   Thirteen organizations find themselves as the controlling interests of the emergent Tenebrian Empire, named after the informal agreement sworn between themselves on the Tenebrae space station. Although nominally allied, they begin to squabble for influence and command of the throne.   Their reign meets challenges almost right away when the Luna colonies revolt and terraforming projects on Venus grind to a halt.

    Peaceful Resolution of Luna Colony Revolt

    After a tense month of negotiations the separatist movement on the Luna colonies has come to an end through predominantly peaceful means. Painstaking labor negotiations, preferential shipping contracts, and luxury procurement agreements formed the backbone of the deal- though the colonists also successfully lobbied for more autonomy in some local affairs. Thermopylae is predominantly credited with making the labor leader connections necessary for bringing the gas mining colony firmly back into Tenebrian Empire control- though other private interests have also been credited with greasing the bureaucratic wheels.

The Rubicon will require the sacrifice of non-MES Piggen to energize the device and maintain the stability of the leylines through this process
