UNW operatives assault a heavy shipyard controlled by a nearly unbraked AI.

It was determined that the almost unbraked AI combined with the super-heavy shipyard was too much of a threat to ignore any longer, and a special mission was to be dispatched to handle it.    Dr. Thorn, Hailey, Regulus, and Dax volunteered bravely to board the shipyard and cause as much damage as possible. Overcoming spotters, overtaking a communications blister, and dispatching two of the Tenebrian Remnant's elite soldiers, the Chainveil, they were deemed such a threat by the shipyard that the entire module containing them was ejected, lest they cause irreparable harm.   In space, the newly appointed Lord Admiral 'All Power to Guns' Rigers led a specialized force, to which Desmond O'Shea, Ricardo, and Cornelius also contributed aboard other colony vessels. The Cheshire and Task Force 3 were both lost in the engagement, though not before destroying the Remnant space fleet and two capital ships.   On the ground, Seung Whitaker, Cyrus Adonis, Mord, and Cayne Neverwinter stealthily dropped into the AI facility. Spotted by a mech in the courtyard when Cayne dropped two marksmen on the opposite wall, a pitched battle between more Chainveil, two mechs, and the core's personal guard of Cull-bots ensued, wounding them all terribly.   Upon entering the core chamber, a vast mechanical spider dominated the ceiling, speaking in riddles about being taken in a raid on galactic shores, and how their thoughts on AI were the reason he is the way he is. It was revealed that this AI was the core of Matthew Hunter, a colony eccentric that had been presumed dead after failing to download his mind into a core device.   The download-evidently successful, was traded to Remnant infiltrators by someone inside the colony- the hunt for whom remains ongoing.
