An era of terror comes to an end.

This 'Second Scream' as it would later be known is one of healing, rather than destruction. The wave washes over the surrounding planets, dissolving shapers shaper tendrils, searing corruption away, and sending those few still alive after the singularity gun shot dissolving into ash.   Ferals, and those in the grips of madness from the first Scream now find peace, their bodies falling into death as though they are in a dreamlike repose. Those in the grips of torch, or struggling with their powers, momentarily find the guidance they need to help themselves, or the instinct to turn to someone who can. There is no question the galaxy will still need heroes to undo most of the damage- but a measure of peace has been bought today.   The galaxy enters a state of true silence, as The Scream and the terrible events unleashed by it are calmed in this sector. Space is vast, and this golden wave may yet travel to other areas, helping those who may not even realize that they are being helped.   There is no cry as the beast fades, no oath of vengeance, or even animal bleat as it dies. There is simply there serenity of deep space, and a subconscious weight lifting from all who inhabit the galaxy
