Cyrus and Malak meet on the battlefield.

Shortly after Judge Monsoor was killed, General Quince of the New Moon Cooperative approached the UNW- specifically Cyrus Adonis, to establish a maintaining post on Maitane.   Malak was originally expected to establish this base, and if he was to be killed, Cyrus promised to assume the responsibility, as the NMC wanted to use the facility to begin probing Fleshshaper  space from the east.   After confirming the ships of Thorn and Malak in orbit, the scouting team descended into the junk field and mortal combat between the two began. Malak was eventually killed, the only fragment aside from his head recovered was a shard of armor.   Upon it, an inscription.   "Wrath is the tool of the righteous man"
