Wary allies meet.

It was a brisk morning as the first moon of Acastus rose above the horizon. The neon lights cast shadows all across O'Shea Memorial Park. The statue in commemoration to the Hero of Acastus was deemed a suitable spot for the official meeting between the United Nation of Worlds and Greystar Combine    Joshua Collins and Svenka Vilnovha traveled a great distance from UNW space to come to the meeting. They were greeted by Director Kensh, Eisheru Tidecaller, and Kelvin Bell. Talk was had and several agreements were made. Trivedi Tech was to build a hospital on Acastus and the promise of trade was the focus of the meeting. The Greystar Combine also agreed to lend aid in the fight againstThe Fleshshapers.   While some memories are hard to forget or forgive, the United Nation of Worlds and the Greystar Combine are forging a new path together towards what will hopefully be a brighter future for all. The threat to the galactic north seems to have forced aside any ill will towards the Combine. For now, it is a start to a hopefully long and productive relationship between the two polities. Only time will tell...  

A Memorial to Provost Desmond O'Shea ---

A 5 meter tall stainless steel statue of the brave provost holding a laser rifle high in defiance against a stylized storm cloud, rendered in dark iron and inlaid with bolts of deep emerald.   Two pinions are worked out of it grasping toward him, though the expression on the statues face is serene   At the bottom, a plaque in the same silver steel reads   “This park and this statue are commissioned in memory of Provost O’Shea, patron of all protectors, and hero of Acastus.”   "May the Stars and their Silences light your way"
