A catastrophe worthy of an Epic.

With the non-functional tractors and the scrap coming to Mytikas, new opportunities arose. Everyone did what he could to build up this city. It did not take long until those damaged tractors were working again and thanks to the help of the regent the fields were made ready for farming.   The later appointed Head Engineer or Mytikas, Jeonia Sawall constructed the first wind turbines and with those, the first produced electricity was available to critical components and tasks.   But the good was always accompanied by the bad. The iron mine collapsed, cutting Mytikas off of its metal supply. Only thanks to some quick thinking and acting was it possible to minimize casualties. A scouting team caught an enemy scout and interrogated him. This same scout later escaped and stole a hoverbike and equipment of the person guarding him.   In those days regent Adonis felt the urge to find himself and to learn more about his destiny. He ventured into the Garden of Bones, alone. His way to the tree in its center was long and deprivedly. He cast away a helpful ghost as he was determined to conquer, not to listen. In the end, he reached the tree and fought a being that later was called an Overlord. The fight was long and almost cost him his life. When the fight was over, the Overlord seemed to be gone but Cyrus' life force was dwindling too. He escaped through a horde of undead on his way to a Protectorate boat that was in the area. Due to misunderstanding, he was almost shot dead by the gunner of the boat, Pearl Sarya. The result of the fight against the Overlord was a fire that burned down the World Tree and was seen on half the continent.   Shortly after the rescue, the first Town Hall Meeting was held.   With his manliness boosted into other spheres, Regent Adonis decided to go onto another diplomatic mission. This time to Haphestea. This mission went mediocre like his last diplomatic endeavors. The leadership oh Haphestea was rather concerned when they learned what caused the fire of the World Tree. They told Cyrus that dark forces will begin to make their move now.   Together with the Haphesteans, the military of Mytikas went out to fight the undead threat in the Garden of Bones. A battle that would change the course of history. While the Myrmidons held the ground, the Haphesteans were not ready for this battle. The regent and his guard stepped in to help the Hephesteans retreat. Some of the retreating allies were brought to safety by Pearl and the crew of her ship. Although the battle looked bad, it was no hopeless. Yet the regent decided to call for a bombardment by the spaceships. An idea that sounded good, if those spaceships were equipped for this maneuver. They weren't. Although Cyrus was warned, he still greenlit the bombardment. It was a catastrophic failure. The blast radius and intensity was way out of what Cyrus thought. At least he did not have to stand trial for this mistake, as he, his guard and most of the Myrmidons were evaporated.   With the regent and most of the military gone, a new era started for Mytikas.
