They abscond with eight faction credits, leaving a burning safehouse behind them.   Emboldened by support from the Church of Benevolence, there is a resurgence of Gamma Cult activity in the countryside of Saliv. Several propoganda broadcasts and taped messages directly threatening cities with resonators circulate across the planet. Concerned about possible links between the Chruch of Benevolence and Church of Human Enlightenment, however unfounded, some electors act with concern about security, others act openly to secure their own positions. Tensions rise as Church properties are seized, high ranking church officials are arrested on suspicion of collusion with this new enemy, and believers find their meeting places either closed, or under heavy scrutiny.   Church of Benevolence members serving as part of the correctional corps sets several noble families free. Their diaspora is quick and pre staged resources allow seven families to scatter across Cooperative space. Among them are the surviving members of the Buchannon family, who no doubt will be seeking revenge on their turncoat Monarch-kin, King Buchannon.   Church of Benevolence aligned crewmen stage a mutiny on the UNN April Kincaid and the corvette vanishes during a routine patrol. The captain and first mate are discovered floating in a lifeboat in the Draemia system, the ship having made a spike jump southeast out of UNW territory. Most of the crew are new cadets sent to the aging ship on a training mission before being reassigned to more promising vessels.
