Zadak Refugees

Military action

The Zadak are rescued from Brizeno's moon and their Etxaurren oppressors.

The Knights of Draconis, Rey, Vencer, and mercenaries hired by Aiya-Tech headed south to try to liberate Rey's homeworld of Brizeno from the clutches of the Etxaurren Empire.    The long spaceflight south was compounded with a diplomatic issue in discovering Jaxton Ryder fleeing the Chimeran Ascendency, issues finding and scooping fuel, and later, by more defenses at the target point that intelligence had been aware of.    The expedition fought hard, destroying several Etxaurren war camps on the moon, and assisting with the defense of Nosh-Zadak, the home city of the mantis aliens. Although the city was saved, too few of the Zadak remained to defend it, and with the arrival of Etxaurren fleet reinforcements from their home planet the decision was made to withdraw.    Over 20,000 of the Zadak were rescued from the surface of Brizeno's forest moon, and were successfully evacuated. They reside on Sumati II, under the protection of Governor Shriven.
