News from the East.

Probes returned with news of an eastern sector. The worlds there were rich in people, and in resources. A United Nation of Worlds expedition naturally followed those routes previously probe ruttered.   The first inhabited world discovered was Halia, a planet almost totally covered in a pale green blue sea. A major alien ark vessel as crashed on the world, now acting as a supermassive surface vessel. The inhabitants are hostile and have fired on all who approach.   Admiral Madeline Beckwater, of the Black Surf Flotilla, has shown a vested interest in conquering it, and has attacked it several times- each ending in failure. Another city state, the Republic, seems more evenly led.
