Taros of Gudrun determine their future.

The encroaching threat of the Remnant was a clear sign that the three major powers on Gudrun needed to unite into a single unity government, now more than ever.    Executor Dorlin, of Vapormills, and Albright, of Canninhold both were very much in favor of expanding into a fully democratic council for managing affairs on planet, though the other five cities belonging to the fraying confederacy were not all looking upon the changes favorably.   The vote was almost cancelled before it even began, as news reached the assembly that Magister Egons had been killed by a terrorist ambush on his motorcade on the way to the vote.   Silvano and Seung by this point in their long careers had the most contact working with Taros leaders, and alongside their armed forces, and were permitted speaking parts in the council due to their status. Though not voting, each proved instrumental in working to persuade enough of the votes to obtain the majority needed. Victory was 'clinched' when Bladonna broke ranks with the 'nay' block, in exchange for a forgiveness of debt and the promise that their young leader Siprian the Divine, would keep his post.   The recovering city of Atrovia also voted yes, owing their freedom and fledgling recovery efforts to the above and beyond aid that the humans of Greenbriar were providing them. If their allies wanted this, so do they.   Elections are promised for the future as they make their tentative first steps into unity.
