  The Zeurus system is located in the metaspace saturated L-Gate region. Zeurus is connected to New Moon Cooperative territory via a planetside L-gate that is large enough for personnel and light vehicles only.   Aside from the red dwarf at the heart of the systen, almost nothing is known about local space outside of Zerus's habitable world itself.   The inhabited planet is home to a mechanical civilization known as The Sacrficied. Their holdings have been reduced to one major outpost near the L-gate connection, along with a few small scattered underground outposts across the planet with no easy means of travel between them. Kilometers high firestorms burn the remaining cities and woodlands to ash, and the horizon always has the apperance of being on fire. The air is filled with burned chemicals and ash. Breathing without a mask is possible but very unpleasant and even harmful over an extended period of time.   As rogue security constructs patrol the burned lands, the Sacrificed hope to one day expand to settle the surface once again, and one day see beyond the bounds of their planet.
