Xu Ganara
Xu Ganara is the hive mind of psychic souls that inhabited the academy branch of the planet Olar, in the months, days, and hours before The Scream.
'He' in the sense a hivemind can have a gender, is home to many minds. Originally rescued by Joshua Collins, and brought back to the United Nations of Worlds, he pledged to serve the Academy above all if he would be protected here.
Although harshly questioned at first and viewed with an air of mistrust, Xu has none the less proven his worth.
He and Robert Tanzer struck up a fast friendship, and the two recovered several psionic artifacts. One, a book of rituals, allowed the coven of Academy Psychics to weaken the Scream Beast enough to permanently banish it.
With the untimely death of Robert Tanzer during the mission to recover said ritual book, he has since taken up command of the Void Wardens.
