Vothe/Devnoc

Vothe was originally a VI built for war and housing the ancient Slyth mind, referred to as Kingkiller. Once defeated by Seung Whitaker, the body was refurbished and boxed until passed on to Billy Rigers. Billy set out to reprogram the VI and restore and alter its functions.     Billy was able to alter the build slightly, giving the Virtual Intelligence software designed to organize people, material and other droids in an efficient way to accomplish tasks quickly. Ultimately, Billy hopes that Vothe will be able to oversee a team of worker bots and act as their guardian in the case of Billy's absence, but for now he will act as Billy's personal assistant.   Billy re-named Kingkiller to Vothe after his favorite books, the Kingkiller Chronicles and repainted and refit some of his hardware to give him a less menacing look. Don't be fooled though, Vothe is still very much built into a chasis and base software designed for war.   His features include a reinforced Ironhide framing, coms hardware, binocular sight, and systems scanner to name a few. Vothe is extremely strong and extremely fast.   Devnoc was added to this literal melding of the minds close to the end of 2668, when the aforementioned tech expert was mortally wounded during a Brotherhood of Fenris raid on the planet Musheera. The Rigers Corps of Engineers base there was sacked, and Devnoc was shot in the chest at close range.   It was clear after several days in spike space that the frail boy could not be saved. In a moment of illogical care for a human life, Vothe proposed this merge.   Vothe and Devnoc now inhabit the same electronic mind, the calculating processing power of an AI, with the ethics, morals, and boundaries of a human mind. This may be the most perfect expression of artificial intelligence in the Iron Sectors area.
