  Uzov is a small system at the edge of NFSS space consisting of a sun, a temperate world, an asteroid field, and a barren planet covered in toxic gas. The system lacks a gas giant or nebula, making it a rarity in the Iron Stars region.   The system is war weary and recovering from defending several Shaper assaults during the wars against the Fleshshaper Host. A strong NFSS naval presence and large naval base exists in the system and there are many salvage efforts underway to recycle what remains of destroyed NFSS ships. There is no evidence of any organic Shaper wreckage in the system.   A single city exists on the habitable planet. It looks like some kind of environmental recovery effort is underway here to repair damage to the biosphere from the war.
