  The Ghoul King and his court once ruled this planet as the capital of their emergent empire. A network of defense satellites once orbited the planet in a thick web and kept ships from approaching too closely , but have since been decommissioned as a combined Elysium Protectorate and United Nations of Worlds task force assaulted the planet at the end of a long campaign.    The Ghoul King and his court were captured in the wilderness as covert ops teams assaulted critical locations around the planet destroying what they could before more concentrated troop landings began. The human population once kept as slave labor and eventual food stock here took up arms as manor after manor, camp after camp, city after city was liberated and the official campaign ended in just a few short weeks.    The United Nations of Worlds took official administrative control of the planet as per the agreement with the Elysium Protectorate in May 2669, and the long work of reconstruction is only just beginning.
