Theneus

  Theneus system is dominated by an aging red giant, most likely going to go supernova in the next billion years give or take. There are only two worlds that remain in the system with an evidence of at least a third having existed at one point in time. Both worlds are within the habitable zone and are inhabited by the Geons that call Theneus their home.   Theneus-1 is a mountainous lava world that has patches of temperate climates where agriculture thrives. A majority of her people live within mountain strongholds. In orbit are three massive Shantadurga Class defense platforms   Theneus-2 is a water world which has only a few thousand colony inhabitants working the water transports. Its large supply of liquid water has been crucial to the survival of Theneus-1.   Out beyond Theneus-2 is an asteroid belt, or perhaps the remains of a former planet. The belt is massive and has provided for significant mineral wealth to the Geons of Theneus.
