Suha Sea Stalker

The Suha Sea Stalker is a large creature that lives in the sunless sea under the mountains north of Riven, on the planet Suha.   The Sea Stalker is a long necked beast with a turtle like body and powerful flippers that allow it to glide its bulk through the water effortlessly. Its long neck and strong jaws allow it to grasp prey and pull it out of the grottos that fill the underground sea where it lives. Clusters of eyes on each side of its head allow it to see in all manner of conditions with special membranes even allowing it to see in murky water.   The diet of the Sea Stalker is almost entirely made of meat. Fish, turtles, sea serpents, and even microscopic life fill its stomach. It is a unique creature in the sense that it has both baleen filter feeding organs, and organs suited to the digestion of whole pieces of meat. They are voracious eaters and on the inspection of stomach contents there are inorganic, indigestible objects such as metal fragments, rocks, and the unregurgitated shells of the creatures they eat inside.   With intense caloric demands and a small relative habitat, it is thought that there are only a few Suha Sea Stalkers alive at any one time.
