Serpent Tail Whale

Herbivore   The largest creatures in Terezinho's oceans, the serpent-tail whales are called such for the two wyrm like fronds that trail from its back. These fronds are used for warding off predators, and are coated in a paralyzing toxin that can render a foe helpless , at least for enough time for the pod to get to safety elsewhere.   Serpent-tail whales feed on microorganisms in the water, similar to their earthbound cousins.
