Rainbow Trout (M)

Herbivore   The fish species on Terezinho are too numerous to be individually stratified, but perhaps the most prevalent is a modified version of the rainbow trout, bred by the original settlers to adapt to the salinity of the oceans here. The fish fill an essential niche in the ecosystem here, as most larger predators routinely feast on them, and their kin.   The modified rainbow trout themselves eat the floating kelp rafts that dot the oceans here, and will also eat sea grasses still rooted into reefs if free floating food is not available.
