  The Popolos system orbits around a yellow star at the system center.   The system consists of a planet covered in this clouds of chlorene gas closest to the star, a habitable planet with scattered settlements and rolling forests, and a gas giant at the system edge orbited by two barren moons. The planet does not appear to have a way to communicate with space. The various inhabited areas on the planet are organized in loose confederations of states but it is unclear from space who belongs to which or what they call themselves   Celestial Freebooter explorer Melody Vapor visited the planet to seek food aid for starving Juroli in mid 2671. Melody learned that only a few small isolated settlements were resisting a powerful planet spanning empire known as The Pact. This group appears to be fond of human sacrifice, is religiously motivated, and vastly outguns the other independent groups on the planet by way of modern military spec weapons. The free peoples of Popolos valiantly resist The Pact, though it is believed that without help this fight to preserve their freedom will not last long.
