  Peleucy is a large system. Two burning worlds close to the system sun hold no life of any kind. Within the habitable zone, a tropical world lies in ruins and spreading webs of machine shops, factories, and other hypermodern settlement slowly spreads across the planet with clockwork precision. The sky on this world is frequently dark and dozens of solar collection satellites orbit the planet and beam energy down to ground stations.   The planet is likewise well defended from the ground with surface to space defenses. The planet's moon likewise hosts defensive fortifications and would need to be bypassed to make a run at the planet itself.   A gas giant is the fourth and final planet.   This system is home to The Adamantine Republic, a race of bots created by the Slyth for protection and as formidable soldiers to help during the Shaper Wars. When the Slyth retreated into The Great Freeze, the bots began to develop a society of their own.   In May 2670 the Adamantine Republic agreed to become part of the Elysium Protectorate after several long years of tense negotiation, joint research endeavors, and the volunteering of Yulia Wyke to undergo a radical bioenhancement process meant to allow her to serve as the bridge between the two peoples.
