Found in the deepest forest reaches on Acastus, Eisheru Tidecaller was the first to make contact with one.
These beasts feast on rock formations and mineral deposits that are above the surface or buried just below, leaving behind nothing but almost perfectly purified mineral runoff as waste product from their meals.
They have since been domesticated, and are now moved in herds across the forests of Acastus, happily munching on surface minerals and leaving the purified remains for prospectors.
