  • Tens of Millions of Inhabitants
The inhabited planet of the Mitopouba system is a night world, constantly facing away from its system sun, and rotationally locked to keep sunlight off 98% of the planet's surface.    The settlers here live in domed cities. Outside their protective domes, legions of the local underhill swarm constantly throw themselves at the defenses. Those living here have never known a life free from threat, even before The Scream. The disaster has undoubtedly weakened their defensive posture, and several ruins across the planet's surface mark the places where other settlements fell to the local wildlife.    Occasional expeditions are sent out to thin the horde of underhill, and are usually met with mixed levels of success.   In the latter months of 2669, the Greystar Confederation invested several divisions of soldiers to bolster the planet's defenders. The influx of modern infantry and heavy equipment allowed the defenders a much needed rest, and by the dawn of 2670 the planet gratefully accepted Greystar membership. Mitopouba joins the legion of other planets undergoing reconstruction in the Post-Scream galaxy.

Important Sites

Keypartite
Keypartite is the only point of interest on the planet where the Undra swarms did not touch ,and considered the capital of the world, all wealth, power, industrial might, and security were directed here. The settlement is far advanced compared to the rest of the planet as a result.   The upper echelons of Keypartite are a testament to human ingenuity and ambition. Glistening skyscrapers of polished metal and crystalline windows reach for the heavens, forming districts dedicated to research, administration, and luxurious living. Airborne transport vessels glide through the sky, their propulsion systems leaving shimmering trails as they navigate between platforms. A network of skywalks and levitating platforms interconnects these towering structures, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the celestial landscape.
