The Menosa system consists of a single world in the habitable zone, a bright yellow star, and a small gas giant. The planet is inhabited by a mixed Human and Geon community. The Geon here seem to be made of sedementary rock and can ride out the conditions better than most other examples of their species on other worlds.

Strong storms such as tornadoes ravage the surface. The locals have adapted their construction methods, creating oblong broad buildings that can handle the wind shear and drainage. Occasionally when such a storm forms over water it does pick up dangerous sea life, creating a truly dangerous storm system of both wind and teeth.
