Malak Adb Al-Muta
From the heavily redacted personnel file:
In the beginning Malak grew up in an olf, decaying alien city near the edge of a jungle and desert. His small city was called "Miner's Oasis". His father was a miner and his mother was a care giver / trader
Malak grew up with a still formal education paid for by the "corporation". He started to work in the mines early in life but one corp member say that he had a "knack" for drones and time table, like the drone would listen to him somehow. thing go really weird in his teen years by getting trapped by a rock eater (xeno) and after a few tense hours was able to get it to cut a path back to the surface for him.
Malak now has fished his contract with mega-one mining corp as a drone handler and now is looking to make his way into the darkness as his own man.
Malak would indeed go off to become his own man, but not in the way many would envision. Upon induction in UNW service, Malak would almost immediately begin working on a record that could at best be determined as checkered. In the Battle of Aslief, a Remnant corvette surrendered to Malak and Shriven Emaje. The crew was given a chance to exit without their arms and become prisoners, but Malak vented the entire ship anyway.
As justice waited to catch up, he captained a scouting mission to Terezinho, where he earned the ire of the natives almost immediately by threatening to bombard the Temple of the Five Suns, along with a pirate base operating in the southern polar region of the planet. This extrajudicial killing of prisoners, and the slave crew aboard was investigated, along with the now direct threat to holy sites on allied planets was brought to the UNW unity council. Malak fled to Aliah before further punishment could be contemplated.
Malak knew that the Jademane natives felt a special connection with their planet and felt pain as their world suffered, but this did not stop him from commissioning three large drilling rigs from Dank Crew. Setting each of them up near a cleared river bed for his campsite, he began to dredge the world despite the extreme protest of the natives. Hundreds of armed men and miners now accompanied Al-Muta, and he dared UNW authorities to extradite him when a small diplomatic corps attempted negotiations.
Cyrus Adonis and a mixed force of notables, and UNW military groups arrived on the planet, and overwhelmed the camp, though Muta himself fled aboard his free merchant the Southern Belle.
Muta would be responsible for the kidnapping and televised murder of Judge Ibrahim Monsoor on Rawhani, and later would be tracked to the junk planet of Maitane. Adonis engaged him in single combat after a miniaturized Hydra Array killed most of his squad, beheading Muta and dragging the headless body free of its suit of power armor. A shard of it is on display in the Prime Museum, under a special restricted section.
