Encountered first by Val, in the lake south of Greenbriar, the sighting was further verified a year later, when Malak and the Southern Belle were attacked by it on an exploration dive. Further attempts to capture and study the beast have resulted in failure.
It is rumored there are cousins or close generic examples of this fearsome beast on other worlds, namely a green scaled version on Aliah, and a deep blue scaled version on Terezinho. There may yet be others lurking on un-surveyed worlds.
