A gas giant, two barren planetoids, and a large world within the habitable zone of its green-yellow sun occupy the region. The planet has so far seemed friendly to organic visitors, most notably, the Trinary Church. All organic life on the surface of the planet has been either converted to some kind of metallic copy, or simply has been used as raw material for the spread of the mechanical civilizations living here.    An overcouncil keeps the robotic faiths here from open war with one another but the world is torn by violent disagreement between sectarians of a particular faith. Each views the other as a damnable heresy in need of extirpation. Local government may be able to keep open war from breaking out, but the poisonous hatred divides communities. The nature of the faith may be religious, or it may be based on some secular ideology. Too little is known about the true nature of the societies here to be sure.    The world has a great many robots on it. Most bots are going to be non-sentient expert systems, though an AI with enough computing resources can control many bots at once, and some worlds may have developed VIs to a degree that individual bots can seem (or be) sentient. Some worlds might even be ruled by metal overlords, ones which do not need to be sentient so long as they have overwhelming force. Its unclear which of these the civilizations here fall into.

The Hierarchy of the Trinary Church

In November 2669, Ehled Lowward discovered new information about the Trinary Church, one of the larger blocks of relgious creed on the planet. A short breakdown to their order is given below.   Prime-Function- The Trinary Church only has one Prime Function at a time, and their reign is over at exactly fifty years from the date of their appointment to the position. As robotic forms do not 'die' in the traditional sense, this ensures doctrinal stability while also allowing the creed to grow by making room for new views. They are on their third Prime Function at the time of this Post-Scream age we are in. The Prime Function issues high level religious decisions as issues reach its attention from lower Trinary Church decision making bodies.   Cardinals of Concordance- An under-body and source of informational triage for the Prime- Function, there are seven Cardinals also active within the Trinary Church. The odd number allows for a variance of opinions while also not allowing for there to be a case where an issue is tied. Most high level church decisions come from this body. Merit based appointments from lower church bodies fill vacancies in this court, and they have a twenty five year term limit. The last three Prime-Functions have all previously been members of this body.   Regional Overseers- Responsible for large swathes of neighborhoods or chunks of less developed territory these Overseers tend to the lower priestly orders, preside over local feast days, and instruct the masses when higher levels of interpretation are needed. They are appointed from the lowest order of priest based on merit.   Church Cog- The lowest level of priest and those responsible for the most direct interaction with those faithful outside the church hierarchy. They handle most basic ceremonies, and instruction to the masses.

The Hierarchy of the Purecode Duchy

Little is known about the Duchy other than their relgiious dogma is a confusing mix of absolute beliefs. The religion is goverened by a Supreme Leader, and it is alleged there are minor officials serving in information triage roles before issues are brought to this figurehead.
