  The Juroli system is concentrated around a bright set of binary yellow stars. One planet exists in the habitable zone and a gas giant also occupies the system.    The habitable planet's surface is a strange meld between biosphere and some sort of living metal that grows with and among the plants and animal life on this world. All biological processes appear to be entirely natural, and the locals have come to work around the complications of growing and domesticating animals given these unique properties.    A abandoned Bannerjee-12 station sits in orbit over the planet, once a research outpost but abandoned shortly after The Scream for unknown reasons. Burn marks on its exterior hull show lifeboats did make it out, toward the planet's surface.   The year 2670 saw the planet come under the administration of an independetn group, and they have successfully restored the space platform to a functional service depot, and have begun taking steps to solve the food crisis on the planet below. Data centers and modern amenities have begun to reach the locals and though they are happy, the identities of their benefactors remain the subject of intense rumor.   2671 saw the beginnings of a shift in the ecology of the planet. Some small sections of the metallic landscape were being slowly returned to nature. Communications infastructure has sprung up across the still viable parts of the world and many formerly isolated towns are now coordinating the fight to reclaim their world from this ecological distaster.
