  The Iteicarro system is centered around a pale neutron star that is near the end of its life. This life is still measured in a few million years. Weak light has the planets in this system existing in perennial states of twilight.   Iteicarro 1 is too close to the sun to sustain life and is a barren world of endless ash desert and mountains.   Iteicarro 2 is a habitable world with an atmosphere that is listed on surviving Mandate records as highly radioactive. This radioactivity will defeat the seals of personal suits and vehicles within 24 hours and will deliver a lethal dose of radiation within 6 hours of a seal breach. A trio of domed settlements on different parts of the planets surface are the last holdouts of civilization on this world.   Iteicarro 3 was a dwarf planet that has cracked and created a large debris field around it in a ring of ice, rock, and dust.
