  The Ioanakos system consists of a large green sun marking the system as a very strange one, as this is not a typical color. A barren world too close to this sun to host life, a habitable planet with a forest moon, and a gas giant close to the system limits occupy the orbits around this star.   Ioanakos suffered an incredible loss of life and regression of technology due to The Scream and the rampant attacks of feral psychics that occupied the city ruins after. The Healing was an event that peacefully ended the lives of the ferals, and with the city ruins accessible again something of a gold rush has begun on the surface as various bands of scrappers and bootstrap communities pry whatever relics of their previous civilization from the wreckage of their former cities.     Skirmishing occasionally breaks out between competing claims, but violence is often seen as a last resort when there is no other solution to resolving a dispute.   In October of 2669, after months of attention by Protctorate explorers and diplomatic teams, the raiding and infighting on the surface greatly decreased. Official entry into the Protectorate was granted, though some social issues remain.
