- Tens of Thousands of Inhabitants
Ibasalo Urt is a world of scattered settlements and a biosphere that runs through the planet in striations, appearing as a multi colored cat's eye marble from space. It is the only planet in its local section of space, warmed by a yellow-blue star.
It does not have a moon or any orbiting solar bodies, but the system does also contain a small gas giant.
The planet itself is marked by a central hot springs were MES powers seem to be weakened or nullified, the effect waxing and waning with time. A dark cult interested in both the pool, and the shadowy side of metaspace powers has recently been driven out of the planet's main settlement, though they were not killed.
Watchful eyes keep a steady gaze on the surrounding countryside, expecting the group to return and try to wrest control of the city once again.
Across a frozen eastern sea, bands of seasonal raiders dubbed "Ice Vikings" periodically harass the mainland, though have not been able to breach the defenses of the more civilized areas thus far. The raids get more intense with each passing winter as the resource scarcity on their home island grows.
In early 2668, Valeria Spiros of the AGET attempted to get the Ice Vikings to cease their raiding on the mainland- going as far as to destroy every single one of their irreplaceable longships. They have embraced this challenge, knowing that starvation would cause the wolves among their populace to rise, and some charismatic figure would lead them to prosperity after what they believe will be years of suffering.
In late 2668, after being assisted with a crisis involving a pair of psionic artifacts called the "twin gods" , the people of this planet agreed to join the Protectorate due to their continued assistance.
Early 2670 saw renewed Protectorate interest in this planet as the Paragons of Light established a working trade port on the Ice tribe islands to the southeast. The first ships sailing from the islands to a trade post owned by Amon of the Blue Flowers is expected to enrich both societies.
Too much pushing for peace at the expense of ignoring the opinions of the locals saw Gralzea declare independence from the rest of the Protectorate.
